Was the Price Worth it?

To shed light on the issue coming from fast fashion and labor abuse, a campaign project was started. The campaign was focused on creating a poster, brochure, and some social media designs to start the initiative. The phrase "Was the price worth it?" was a way to direct the viewers to the issue behind buying clothes from companies who participate in labor abuse.

The issue being discussed is fast fashion and with that there a large amount of people across the world taken advantage of to produce these cheap clothes at a fast rate. The best ways I felt would show that is through clothes or hands.

DRAFTS - POSTER

There were four options, two with a similar layout/color pallete, that were presented. Afterwards there was some discussion on what was the most effective aspect from the designs. The hands actively working with the thread and needle was agreed to be an effective approach but there was hesitation is terms of color and type. After some tests the final color palette on the left was chosen  represent the bright an colorful aspect of clothes. The type Lulo was chosen as I felt the texture of the font was similar to actual fabric.
